1. No sharp objects are to be placed on top of the piano to prevent deep scratches (scratches are unavoidable since the slightest friction would cause this)

2. Hands are to be free of excessive grease or dirt when using the piano

3. Nothing is to be put leaning against the piano (again to prevent scratches)

4. Always put the green cover back on after using the piano

5. Dust the piano regularly using the soft cloth stored in the piano stool.
